Linda Fiorella’s 37 years as an educator include
experience as a middle school and high school teacher, staff developer,
district content specialist, and university instructor. She has
developed and implemented an adolescent literacy program that was ultimately
extended to all schools in her
Linda has facilitated trainings and workshops for teachers and administrators, and worked on committees to develop and bookmark the Colorado State Assessment Program. She has also presented at numerous state and national conferences including the International Reading Association, Colorado Language Arts Society, and Coalition of Essential Schools on topics of literacy and high school education

K-12, Kami Glenn has experience in working at both the classroom and
district levels in her capacities of teacher, School Improvement Specialist,
and Special Projects Director for schools primarily located in
at-risk populations.

With over 32 years of public school
experience, Carroll has a variety of expertise.
She has been a teacher, principal, Head Start Director, professional
developer, consultant, recruiter, reading/math specialist, Franklin-Covey
facilitator, and parent liaison.
Carroll has served on district committees to train staff and write
curriculum for writing, language arts, reading, gifted and talented,
bilingual education, and behavioral management.
She has served as a mentor to new administrators providing
organizational strategies with a focus on teacher appraisals.
She has written and been a grant reader for the state of Texas.
Carroll has extensive training in reading and math specializing in
at-risk student academic improvement.
Carroll is certified K-12.
She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from McMurry University with a
minor in mathematics and a Masters of Arts Degree from the University of
Texas Permian Basin as well as certifications in Instructional Leadership
and Mid-management. Throughout
her career she has focused on turning challenges into positive celebrations
which in turn result in improved relationships, staff growth, and student
academic achievement.
Anne Hawks
A former elementary school teacher,
Anne has worked in education for 12 years. In addition to classroom teaching
Anne has worked as an instructional coach, adjunct math professor and
district administrator responsible for curriculum oversight in the areas of
math (K-6), science (K-12), PE/Health (K-12), and guidance (K-12) for a
district of 10,000+ students. Anne earned her bachelor's degree in
elementary education and master's degrees in curriculum and instruction and
education administration from Emporia State University. She is completing
her doctorate in Education Leadership and Policy Studies from the University
of Kansas. Anne specializes in math instruction, curriculum review,
development, and alignment, resource and textbook adoption processes,
curriculum mapping, assessment design, and data analysis. Anne works closely
with clients to provide professional development and curriculum guidance
based on the needs presented. She has designed and presented to
instructional staff K-12 throughout her career in education.

Sandy Hillegass
comes to us fostering close to 30 years of teaching experience.
She has worked at an inner city,
bilingual, elementary school, both as a Teacher and a Reading Specialist.
During her time, Sandy has mentored over 20 student teachers and 25
student interns, helping them to develop the best teaching practices, as
well as recognizing and nurturing their individualized teaching style.
Additionally, Sandy has presented at
NSTA and NABA, as well as many district workshops, on the values of concrete
teaching practices that blend and extend curriculum.
Sandy has
her BA in Elementary Education and MA in Education, both from Arizona State
University. She has received
extensive specialized training and has earned an ESL Endorsement, Early
Childhood Endorsement and a Reading Specialist (K-12) Endorsement.
She has gained additional training by
the Arizona State Department of Education on a variety of topics, including
Lead Teacher Training. Being an
advocate for student success, Sandy's focus lays within definitive teaching
practices and positive attitude for the benefit of student learning.
Heather Raia
Heather Raia is certified K-8 and has spent 9 years at a Bureau of Indian
Education Grant School as a teacher, mathematics instructional coach,
professional development coordinator/facilitator and member of the
leadership team. She has facilitated professional development at her
school site including a 45-hour Sheltered English Immersion training, other
reservation school sties training on Reading First/BIE Reads protocols, at
Lakeshore Learning Store for early childhood educators, and on Common Core
Math Standards the Bureau of Indian Education National Leadership
Conference. Her experience combined with her Master's Degree in
Multicultural Education gives her keen insight on meeting the unique needs
of at-risk populations, including native children.
