• Must have at least 5 to 10 years experience in administrative or consultative work with K-12 that includes successful curriculum management; focus and/or understanding of educational standards, planning, teaching and assessment; hands-on implementation of reading instruction across content areas; and direct work with students who are at-risk, underachieving and/or who have disabilities.

• Demonstrated experience as a Reading and/or Math Coach.

• Knowledge of standard measures and statistical stools used in education research, evaluation and assessment.

• Ability to implement ACTIVE listening skills and respond in a collaborative and supportive manner to provide instructional leadership, direction, evaluation and intervention guidance to schools, districts, education boards or councils and school administrators.

• Experience conducting both large and small group as well as one-on-one presentations with proficient use of computer-based presentation resources such as PowerPoint.

• Excellent verbal and written communications skills and demonstrated ability to communicate with multi-cultural and diverse populations.

• Ability to maintain accurate administrative records, prepare reports and compose correspondence.

• Ability to travel extensively.

• Possess master’s degree in field of secondary or elementary education; higher education administration, guidance and counseling, or field related to education program administration.
